Panasonic Solar PV 250W HIT-H250-E01 (VBHH250)
Panasonic Solar is pleased to announce the launch of one new series of Panasonic Solar high efficiency modules, developed specifically for the European market and embracing the principles of a cost efficient installation thanks to the low voltage.
Panasonic Solar PV Panel 250W HIT HD-series
The Panasonic Solar PV Module (VBHH250) HIT® HD-series with 250W output (Formerly Sanyo), 20.8% cell efficiency and 18.0% Module efficiency.
The HIT (Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer) solar cell is made of a thin mono crystalline silicon wafer surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers. This product provides the industry‘s leading performance and value using state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques. The advantage of HIT solar cells compared with conventional crystalline silicon solar cells is that they are more efficient. This is because they reduce the losses that occur due to inhomogeneous crystal structures on the surface of the solar cell. Even at high temperatures, HIT solar cells can maintain higher efficiency than conventional crystalline silicon solar cells. The HIT modules deliver higher output power on a given roof area than conventional modules. They enable time, space and material-saving installation whilst achieving maximum output power.
In addition to Panasonic HID Panels improved efficiency level, this new Panasonic solar panel continues to embody the superior HIT® temperature characteristics. This means that it continues to produce a high output also in the summer, thereby providing consistently high performance throughout the year. These new modules present a possibility to further contribute to the reduction of CO₂ emissions and further preserve the environment in Europe.
